At Taconic Biosciences, we are looking for a Production Site Director who combines strong leadership with sharp business acumen — someone who can drive operational excellence, optimize performance, and build a high-performing culture.
The Role
As Production Site Director, you will be the highest-ranking leader on our Danish site and a key member of the Global Operations Leadership Team.
You will be fully accountable for site performance — operationally, financially, and culturally.
This is a role for a leader who can balance strategy and execution, ensuring that business goals are achieved while building an engaged and motivated organization.
What You Will Do
- Translate strategy into clear operational and financial execution
- Drive productivity, efficiency, and cost optimization across the site
- Own full site performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and EBITDA delivery
- Optimize production planning, capacity utilization, and resource allocation
- Ensure operational excellence across safety, quality, compliance, and animal welfare
- Lead, coach, and develop leaders and teams to deliver strong and sustainable results
- Build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and engagement
- Identify and drive performance improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies
- Collaborate cross-functionally and internationally to optimize overall business performance
You are a leader who understands that strong financial and operational results are driven by both discipline and people.
You bring:
- Extensive senior leadership experience in production, life sciences, or similar environments
- A strong track record in driving performance, optimization, and cost efficiency
- Solid experience with financial management, budgeting, and P&L ownership
- A data-driven and analytical mindset, combined with hands-on leadership
- Proven ability to lead change and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong business acumen and decision-making capabilities
- Fluency in Danish and English is mandatory
