Location: Taconic Biosciences is seeking a temporary Order Management Salesforce Distribution team member to join our dedicated Customer Experience team in this remote position. Qualified candidates must be within 2 hours proximity to the Cambridge City, IN or Rensselaer, NY sites. This will be an estimated 17-week assignment. Relocation not available.
The Starting Pay: $20 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors. These factors include geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions and could exceed the advertised salary range, however, please note that the upper end of the range is not guaranteed to be offered. *This position is not eligible for paid holidays.
The Formal Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm EST.
The Role:
As a temporary Order Management Salesforce Distribution team member, you will play a pivotal role in our operations by ensuring seamless communication with both external and internal stakeholders. Your primary responsibilities will include managing Salesforce distribution, promptly entering customer complaints, and meticulously maintaining the accuracy of our customer database. You will be at the forefront of customer communication efforts, collaborating closely with stakeholders across departments. Your partnership with members of the Customer Facing organization will be essential in delivering exceptional service. Additionally, you will work alongside Customer Experience Management to optimize workflow and ensure service levels are consistently met.
This position demands a proactive approach within a dynamic team environment. Your keen attention to detail, problem-solving, and ability to make informed decisions will be crucial to the success of this role.

Core Responsibilities:
- Distribution of cases from an informational e-mail inbox.
- Enter and manage customer complaints/non-conformances in Order Quality Management (OQM).
- Enter all New Customer information in Salesforce.
- Responsible for ensuring customer master data is correct and maintained within Salesforce or NetSuite.
- Email customers certificate of analysis.
- Manage and contact customers for known transportation delays.
- Coordinate communications with new customers expecting first orders.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate degree from a 2-year college or technical school, or relevant experience and/or training at an equivalent level.
- Minimum 1 year’s work experience or relevant training, preferably in a customer facing role.
- Experience working in Salesforce and/or NetSuite.
- Superior communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to speak with all levels of an organization both internally and externally.
- Ability to actively listen and understand information presented and different points of view.
